What? You thought that I was done with 125 t-shirts? Oh, no sir. No sir. There are plenty left. I just got a little side tracked by life this week. We’ll get back to the t-shirts tomorrow. But this week was slammed. Real world things that keeps you away from the glowing screen. A week chock full of life and life’s distractions. Here’s a top 5 re-cap of the week that was, so you can understand a little of where I’m coming from.
1. Winter Wonderland ‘10
It snowed for the first time this season last weekend. I know, its just snow. But us Carolinians go straight bananatown when the winter weather hits. Schools close, roads close, grocery stores sell out of bread and eggs – you know, typical end-of-the-world type stuff. Here’s a few pics from me and the hot lady and Jack Frost.

2. LOST Party
Tuesday this week was like Christmas Eve. Or the last day of 5th grade. Whatever you want to call it. The last season of LOST started. And we were like giddy little school children. We crammed 20+ of our closest friends into the living room and hung on every word from our pals on Oceanic flight 815. Oh and beforehand, we dressed up as characters – everyone from Mr. Friendly to Rousseau to Liam (Charlie’s brother). Then we ate Dharma food and played LOST trivia. We were geeking out big time. Not to mention my wife dressed up as Sawyer, complete with a wicked beard.

3. National Signing Day
I know, it’s a little ridiculous how the decisions of high school athletes can captivate the sports world for a full day. But it happened. And my beloved Gamecocks landed the nation’s top ranked running back, Marcus Lattimore. Not a bad jewel in the crown. Can’t wait for next season. But as friend of mine once said, I’m really going to try to not let a bunch of 18 to 20 year olds determine my happiness. No guarantees though. Is is September yet?
4. Storytellers video shoot
An abandoned theatre. 30 degree weather. 300 people. 1 band. And enough creative camera people to shake a stick at. I can’t say a whole lot about this right now, but just trust me – in a few weeks, we’re blowing the doors off what one typical expects when they go to church on Sunday morning.
5. New Thru 30
And as the umbrella hanging over the past 30 days, there is New Thru 30. Not umbrella in the bad sense of the word – more like cover and protection. For the past 30 days, a large portion of our church has been reading through the New Testament. If you do the math, it’s a bit of a break-neck pace. But it has been great and refreshing. I’ve forever had trouble making daily time to read my Bible, and this has definitely helped. If you’ve got the same issue, you should check it out – it’s the personal-trainer-crash-course version of Bible study. Download the reading plan and study guides here and get to it.

So there it is – the week in review. Good times had by all. Now back to finishing off these t-shirts…
