
A Canadian real estate developer recently commissioned artist Martin Creed for this installation on a renovation on one of Vancouver’s oldest buildings. He did a similar installation on the Detroit Museum of Contemporary Art, which formally was an abandoned car dealership. Maybe it’s seeing the message in lights – or maybe it’s seeing it juxtaposed against a real life restoration project – either way, in both cases, the message speaks to something inside of all of us that reminds us and makes us believe that everything really will be alright – and that’s something we all need to hear, see and believe.
